Bagnell Dam To Hopefully Reopen To Traffic In Mid May

Bagnell Dam has been closed to traffic since September 7th, 2021 for surface repairs. It was scheduled to reopen to traffic on January 1st, but weather delays have kept it from opening back up. With all our recent spring rains, we are now hoping for a Mid-May opening. This would make strip businesses extremely happy, as the detour around the dam has kept the normally high traffic area a bit quiet since the closing.
